WHITE BELT EDITION
Sunday, January 10, 2027
For all questions, corrections, or cancellations - please email us at dreambjj@gmail.com
This event is for Kids Gi White Belts only with divisions separated by when competitors first started training. We want White Belts to feel comfortable knowing that they will only compete against those closest to their experience level.
Always register as early as possible for any Dream tournaments to secure your child's spot!
Maximum capacity:
750 competitors
Registration will not re-open to a higher capacity once spots sell out. The only way to register if spots sell out is when competitors drop out.
Theme:
TBA
Every competitor will receive a complimentary themed shirt, poster, and giveaway that can be picked up at the Prize Table at the event.
Don’t forget to pick them up! We cannot mail any shirts, posters, or giveaways after the event.
The deadline to guarantee your shirt size is December 10 @ 11:59pm. After that, registration will still come with a shirt but will be picked from the sizes we have available at the event.
Location:
Santiago Canyon College - Gym
8045 E Chapman Ave, Orange, CA 92869
Search for “Santiago Canyon College Gym” in Google Maps so that it directs you straight to our event instead of somewhere else in the school.
Parking is up to $5 per venue requirements, paid at the kiosks using card payments and your license plate number.
There is not space at this venue to set up tents like at our usual events.
Seating:
We will not have bleachers for this event. Instead, families are welcome to bring chairs and set up a cozy spot for themselves along the walls inside our venue!
Skill divisions:
This event will still create divisions based on gender, weight, and age. Competitors will then also be separated by when they first started training BJJ, Wrestling, or Judo as of the day of the event (January 10, 2027). The categories are:
Up to 6 months
6-12 months
12-18 months
18+ months
Please select the time frame that indicates when they FIRST started training BJJ, Wrestling, or Judo. With this method, taking a break in training does not mean a competitor may move down in experience level.
Competitors may register UP in time training, but may not move down.
Cancellations:
When a competitor has to cancel, we will issue a credit for the original amount paid if we are notified by the correction deadline below.
Please be certain once you are ready to remove your child as they cannot be added back into the event if registration is sold out or closed.
If you paid using a credit: You need to email us to remove your child because Smoothcomp does not automatically issue a new coupon code.
We do not issue refunds at any time or for any reason.
Venue rules:
Please do not eat inside the gymnasium. Eating outside and in the indoor hallway before entering the gymnasium is permitted.
